House Rules

  • Check-in time is 3 PM to 8 PM

  • Check-out time is 10 AM

  • Unless otherwise agreed, meet us at our home for keys, intro to the house and a tour. If arriving after check-in time, or by request and with advance notice, we can arrange to leave the door unlocked and lights on.

  • Please communicate your ETA one day in advance and update us on your progress when you are 15-30 minutes away.

  • No Smoking Inside.

  • Up to two Pets (dogs, not cats) are allowed. Dogs may not be left unaccompanied inside the house unless in a crate. (Primitive campsites and the Base Camp can accommodate more pets with advance permission.)

  • No Shoes in the house.

  • No parties or events in the house. No unregistered or unpaid guests.

  • Quiet Hours all The time so as not to disturb the beautiful sounds of nature. Muted acoustic guitar and singing is fine. We just appreciate your consideration of other guests.

  • Conserve

    • Turn off all valves on propane grills immediately after use.

    • If you will be away for more than 5-6 hours or at departure, turn off the AC in summer.
      In winter, re-set the heat at 50 degrees to avoid freezing pipes.

  • At departure, please

    • wash dishes and leave them to dry in the available rack.

    • Place bagged trash in the large trash bins on our deck.

    • Clean the grill if you have used it.

    • Leave damp towels on the rack, not on furniture.

    • Drop by and say goodbye.
