A shout-out to Brooks Miller. He is a very special 8-year old with Tourette’s Syndrome. He had the creative vision to select random pieces of metal from my scrap bucket to design a pick-axe. We welded it together so he could re-enact scenes from his favorite video game. He also has the sharp eyes to discover an authentic Indian arrow head that I missed just a few feet away from the Beech Treehouse.
